Useful software
starts with the work.

1001 ToolBox brings together software for the recurring work behind a business. Each product concentrates on a particular job, so you can evaluate the tool that matches your work.

Different jobs.
A shared way of thinking.

The family currently includes Payloom for payroll, Keystone for rental records and Porchlight for website support. This site helps you understand those products and find their own applications. You can start with one product; using the others is a separate choice.

Payloom

Payroll

Run payroll with a clear monthly record.

Monthly payroll for growing teams, built around the month: open a run, adjust only what changed, let income tax project itself across the fiscal year, lock it, then print payslips and export bank sheets.

  • Branded payslips
  • Bank export sheets

Keystone

Property management

Know where every tenant's balance stands.

Rent, bills, payments and receipts for landlords and managers, all in one running ledger per tenant, so the operator's numbers and the tenant's numbers are always the same.

Explore Keystone

  • Bills and numbered receipts
  • A portal for tenants

Porchlight

Live chat

Give website visitors a place to ask.

Live chat, AI answers and a help desk for a small team's website. A light on the site tells visitors who's there, how soon they'll hear back, and what to do if nobody is.

Choose a product by
the work it needs to do

Each product has its own application and plans. The ToolBox name brings them together as a family; it does not imply that accounts, subscriptions or records automatically move between products. Check any integration you need before relying on it.

Our practical guides explain how to test a workflow, compare software and plan a move from spreadsheets. For questions about suitability or a particular feature, get in touch before moving important records.

See how the work
fits together.

We show sample product workflows on the homepage so you can explore the idea before opening an application. Those examples are labelled as samples. Current plans and detailed capabilities belong on each product's own site, where you can check them against your requirements.

by Ehtesham Ali

1001 ToolBox is operated by Ehtesham Ali. The work starts with everyday tasks: reviewing a monthly run, explaining a balance or finding the person responsible for a customer question. The aim is to make those records and next steps easier to understand.

If a recurring task is still taking too much effort, tell us how you handle it today and where the process breaks down.
